Top 3 Budget-Friendly Grilled Dishes You Absolutely Must Try

But don't worry, delicious grilled dishes don't have to be expensive. In fact, you can whip up a hearty and filling barbecue dish with ingredients you can easily find at home or at the grocery. Just add a little flair to classic grilled recipes and you'll be good to go!

Here are 3 budget-friendly yet delicious grilled dish recipes that your guests will surely love:

1. Classic Chicken Soft Tacos

What you need:

4 large boneless and skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin
2 tbsps. cumin
2 tbsps. chili powder
2 tbsps. olive oil
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
16 soft flour tortillas (taco-sized)
Preparation:

Combine cumin, chili powder, paprika, brown sugar, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Add olive oil and mix thoroughly. Rub oil mixture to chicken breasts generously. Put chicken breasts in a medium bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or let stand at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to marinate. When ready, cook in a pre-heated grill over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side or until grill marks appear. Heat flour tortillas according to package directions. Serve chicken breasts with flour tortillas with a vegetable side and dressing of your choice.

2. Cheesy Grilled Burgers

What you need:

3/4 kg. ground chuck
4 slices cheese
2 tbsps. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. steak seasoning
4 sandwich thins
Preparation:

Combine ground chuck, Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning in a medium bowl then divide into 4 balls. Divide each ball into half then flatten both halves to form the top and bottom patty. Place a slice of cheese between each set of patties, then pinch the edges together to avoid cheese from oozing out once cooked. When ready, cook on a pre-heated grill over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes per side or until meat is cooked through. Serve burgers inside sandwich thins with vegetables and dressing of your choice.

3. Bacon and Mustard Grilled Potatoes

What you need:

6 potatoes, par-boiled and quartered
2 bacon strips, fried and crumbled
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
3 tsps. olive oil
2 tsps. red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Chopped chives for garnish
For the dressing:

1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. mustard
2 tsp. red wine vinegar
Preparation:

To make the dressing, simply combine all ingredients thoroughly in a small bowl. Set aside. Combine olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Add in potatoes and toss well to coat. Cook on a pre-heated grill over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until potatoes are tender. When ready, place the potatoes back into the bowl. Add bacon bits and onion slices then drizzle with dressing. Serve warm with a garnish of chopped chives.

Serve these mouth-watering and budget-friendly grilled dish recipes at your barbecue and your guests will surely come back for a second serving!
